INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST

Duties and Responsibilities:

Industrial Hygienist is generally defined as the art and science dedicated to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, communication and control of environmental stressors in, or arising from, the work place that may result in injury, illness, or affect the well-being of workers and members of the community. These stressors are divided into the categories biological, chemical, physical, ergonomic and psychosocial.

Salary:  $57,000 - $61,000

Education:
Students in industrial Hygiene will take courses on topics such as a quality risk assessment and environmental health law to facility their classroom knowledge students will participate in a field experience students have the option to travel nationally or internationally for their field experience.
Reflection:
I wouldn’t like to be industrial Hygienist because one of the requirements is taking the biology class and I don’t like that!!
